Strength and mobility

Schedule lifting, yoga, Pilates, stretching and mobility work while keeping them separate from aerobic load and running scores.

You can reserve days for lifting, yoga, Pilates, stretching and mobility work without turning any of them into a run or an aerobic total.

Strength is resistance and functional work. Mobility covers yoga, Pilates, stretching and general mobility. Keeping them separate makes a mixed week easier to read and stops unlike kinds of work being counted as if they were the same.

Planning the day

Tell your coach what you want to do and when. You can include a duration or a note with the particular routine you plan to follow.

These days do not contain a step-by-step workout generated by AgentRunCoach. There are no running paces, power targets or prescribed movements to grade. A specific routine your coach suggests can live in the note, but the product does not yet build or progress a lifting or mobility programme for you.

Recording that you did it

A compatible strength or mobility activity recorded on the same day can pair with the planned day and mark it complete. If nothing was recorded, you can ask your coach to mark a past or present non-running day as done. You can reset that manual mark later if it was a mistake.

Completion is intentionally simple. It says the planned work happened; it does not create a measured duration, running mileage or a score that was never observed.

Why they add zero Cardio Load

Strength and mobility contribute exactly zero Cardio Load — the total of recorded aerobic cross-training time across a training block. They do not count less than a ride or a swim, and they are not converted using a smaller weight. They are excluded because adding a lifting session or yoga class to an aerobic number would misstate what the number represents.

Done does not mean aerobically counted

A strength or mobility day can show as completed while adding nothing to Cardio Load. Completion and aerobic load answer different questions, so both results are correct at the same time.

They also remain outside running mileage and run scoring. Your plan can still make room for them and show that you followed through, without manufacturing a comparison that AgentRunCoach cannot make honestly.

Ask your coach

  • “Add strength on Tuesday and Friday each week.”

  • “Keep Thursday for yoga instead of a run.”

  • “I did my strength session but did not record an activity. Mark it done.”
