Adding training without Strava
Give your coach a screenshot or a plain-language account of a completed activity and approve the facts before they enter your training record.
You can keep a useful training record even when no fitness service is connected.
Share a screenshot from a watch or fitness app, or describe the session in your own words. Your coach first checks what AgentRunCoach already holds, then reads back what it intends to save and waits for your approval.
Give the coach only the evidence you have
A screenshot is useful because it can carry the date, sport, distance, time, pace and splits together. A plain description works too. Include the activity type, date and duration; a run also needs its distance to count correctly in running volume.
Missing detail stays missing. Your coach must not infer a heart rate, invent a split or replace an approximate time with a more precise-looking number. The same rule applies when the screenshot is partly cropped or a field is hard to read: it asks or leaves the field out.
Approve the record before it is saved
Sharing evidence is not permission to write it into your account. Before the save, your coach summarizes the activity it understood and asks you to confirm. Nothing becomes part of the durable training record until you say yes.
AgentRunCoach handles matching. If a shorter copy of the same activity already exists, the new evidence can fill empty fields without overwriting provider facts. If supplied evidence disagrees with an existing value, the disagreement is surfaced instead of silently choosing one.
The image itself is not retained
AgentRunCoach saves the activity facts you approved, not the screenshot bytes. The saved activity can then be used in reviews and future plan conversations.
Use the same route for any completed session
The provider-free path is not limited to running. A strength, climbing, mobility or yoga session can be recorded with its type and duration and no fake distance. That preserves completion evidence without turning a non-distance activity into meaningless pace or mileage.
This route is useful during initial setup and later whenever a completed activity fails to arrive automatically.
Ask your coach
“I do not use Strava. Can I show you my recent runs?”
“This run never synced. Help me add it from a screenshot.”
“I did 8 miles yesterday in about 62 minutes. Can you save it?”
