Connecting and managing Strava
Connect Strava when it is available for your account, understand the grant, and disconnect it without deleting your AgentRunCoach history.
Automatic activity imports reduce manual entry, but direct access is currently available only to eligible accounts.
When it is available, Connection — an authorization for AgentRunCoach to access an external training service — appears under Settings. If the Strava card or connect button is absent, use screenshots or a spoken activity record; you do not need to request access in order to be coached.
Connecting from the web app
Open Settings, find Strava, and choose Connect Strava. You are sent to Strava to review the requested access. After approval, Strava returns you to AgentRunCoach and recent activities can be synchronized.
This grant is separate from using Strava’s own connector inside an AI assistant. AgentRunCoach’s Connection imports activities into your durable training record. A separate assistant connector can let that assistant read Strava and then offer to save selected facts to AgentRunCoach with your approval.
Disconnecting
In AgentRunCoach Settings, choose Disconnect on the Strava card and confirm. New Strava activities stop arriving and AgentRunCoach can no longer fetch more data through that grant.
Your AgentRunCoach account remains active. Plans, coaching conclusions and activity facts already retained as part of your training record are not erased by disconnecting one source. To request deletion of the account and its data, use the separate account-deletion process.
You can also revoke AgentRunCoach from Strava’s connected-app settings. If the two services get out of sync after a Strava-side revocation, disconnect the stale card in AgentRunCoach and reconnect when access is available.
Garmin is not an active AgentRunCoach connection
AgentRunCoach no longer reads from or writes to Garmin. An older Garmin card may appear only so you can disconnect it and remove credentials left from the retired connection.
Reconnecting for additional permission
AgentRunCoach may ask an already-connected athlete to reconnect when a new, optional Strava permission is needed. Existing activity synchronization can continue while that request is pending. Review the new permission at Strava before approving it.
Ask your coach
“Can I connect Strava to my account?”
“Disconnect my Strava connection.”
“What happens to my coaching history if I disconnect Strava?”
