When an activity is missing

Check the source and connection, retry the import, or recover a missing activity from a screenshot or the facts you remember.

A missing activity is a data problem to investigate, not evidence that you skipped training.

Ask your coach to check the stored date range first. That avoids making you describe a run AgentRunCoach already has and distinguishes a display or review question from a genuine missing record.

Check the original source

If you expected Strava to supply the activity, confirm that the watch or app has uploaded it to Strava. A workout that is absent there cannot be imported by AgentRunCoach.

If it is present at Strava, allow for a short synchronization delay, then ask your coach to try the import again. A read of stored activities does not itself fetch from Strava, so be explicit that you want to synchronize before checking again.

Check the Connection

Open AgentRunCoach Settings and look at the Strava card. If authorization was revoked or expired, reconnect when the option is available for your account. Removing and recreating the Connection is a useful final reset, but it should not be the first response to every short delay.

The absence of a Strava card can be expected: direct Strava access is limited to eligible accounts. It does not block the manual recovery route.

Recover the run without waiting

Share a screenshot of the activity or tell your coach the date, type, distance and duration. The coach checks for a partial match, summarizes what it can actually see, and asks before saving.

Recovery will not knowingly create a second copy

AgentRunCoach performs the match when the evidence is saved. New evidence can enrich an incomplete activity, while conflicting values are reported instead of overwriting the original record.

After recovery, ask for the day or week review again. A run that exists in the training record can then be paired with its planned session, reviewed and given feedback like an automatically imported activity.

If repeated synchronization attempts fail for activities that are definitely present at Strava, contact support with the activity date and title. Do not send account passwords or access tokens.

Ask your coach

  • “My latest run is missing. Help me find it.”

  • “Check whether yesterday's activity is already stored.”

  • “This run did not sync. Save it from this screenshot instead.”
