Deleting and restoring activities

Hide an incorrect activity from local history and training calculations, or restore it later without changing the original provider record.

Delete an activity when the stored record is wrong or duplicated and should no longer count as training you did.

An activity deletion in AgentRunCoach is recoverable. It hides the record from ordinary lists and removes it from the running volume and reviews that use your local activity history, but it keeps the row so it can be restored.

Confirming the exact record

Ask your coach to show the candidate’s date, type, distance, duration and source before deleting it. This matters most when two records look nearly identical: the visible activity name alone may not tell you which copy has the richer measurements or the correct provider link.

If the record was paired with a second provider copy and presented as one logical activity, AgentRunCoach hides the pair together so the other half does not suddenly reappear. Ordinary same-source duplicates remain separate and are cleaned up one confirmed record at a time.

What deletion does not do

Deleting locally does not remove the original activity from Strava or another source. It also does not delete your account.

A separately recorded race result remains a race result even if its linked activity is no longer available. A saved coach assessment can still name a deleted activity as evidence, but the old reference no longer opens to the activity detail.

A hidden activity can change later reviews

Weekly mileage and plan comparisons read the active activity history. Delete a run only when you intend those calculations to stop counting it, then refresh the relevant day, week or block review.

Restoring a mistake

Restoring clears the deletion marker and returns the activity to ordinary listings and calculations. Ask to restore it promptly and identify the exact record; the restore action needs that stored activity’s identity even though a normal activity list no longer shows deleted rows.

Permanent account and personal-data deletion is a separate support process. A recoverable activity deletion is the smaller action for correcting one training record.

Ask your coach

  • “Delete the extra activity from yesterday.”

  • “Restore the activity I just removed.”

  • “If I delete this run, what reviews and race records will remain?”
