Getting workouts onto your watch
Use the local Garmin Sync skill when a downloadable build is available, with watch credentials kept off AgentRunCoach's servers.
Getting a planned session onto a watch currently requires a small program on your own computer.
AgentRunCoach does not connect to Garmin, hold Garmin credentials or push a workout from its servers. When it is available, the Garmin Sync Skill — a downloadable bundle that gives your assistant a local ability — handles that delivery instead.
Checking whether the download is ready
Open the Skills area in the signed-in web app and find Garmin Sync. A published build shows its version, file size and a Download the zip button. If the card says Coming soon, there is no supported AgentRunCoach-to-Garmin delivery route to install from that page yet.
The current bundle includes a macOS program. Windows and Linux builds are not available, and a web-only assistant cannot run a program on your computer.
Installing the local skill
Download the zip and keep it zipped. Open Claude, Codex CLI or ChatGPT Desktop on your Mac, point it at the downloaded file, and ask it to install the skill. Your assistant reads the instructions and places the local program where it can use it.
Your browser and macOS may warn about an uncommon download the first time. The Skills page explains the current keep-and-install flow. Review the file name and version shown on the page before continuing.
Garmin sign-in stays on your Mac
The local program may ask you to authorize Garmin the first time it runs. That happens on a private local page; the credentials do not pass through or remain with AgentRunCoach.
Sending a planned session
Once installed, ask the desktop assistant to send a particular planned workout to the watch. The assistant reads that one session from AgentRunCoach and hands its steps, targets and repeat structure to the local Garmin Sync program.
The planned workout remains owned by AgentRunCoach. Garmin is the delivery destination, so a provider limitation may change how a detail is represented on the watch without changing the plan itself.
Ask your coach
“Is Garmin Sync available for my account, and how do I install it?”
“Send Tuesday's planned workout to my Garmin watch.”
“What parts of this workout will appear on the watch?”
